Not Nick Nolte's Diary, Malibu, CaliforniaAugust 7, 2005
Shift
Mark it down: this entry is being dictated Diary. That's right, I am reading it to Manolo and looking over his shoulder as he types. Due to an upcoming role, I have switched back to my "typewriters only" policy. When I made the decision I did not realize all the repercussions, but it looks as though we will manage. After all, if I only know two things, they are witch hazel cures hemorrhoids and Manolo can type like the rain falls. Manolo has just informed me that this sentence does not make any sense, but I like the poetics so it is staying. Manolo has always been a very poor receiver of compliments...Manolo has just walked away leaving me to break policy and type myself. Its going to be a day Diary. A parting shot; the new paper guy is a juggernaut. He not only has the distance on his throws but he hits the same part of the drivearound each time. I think the Dodgers could use him in middle relief.
