I am not sure if you know this Diary, but there is a phenomenon among the LA cops; some of them start the day at IHOP while others choose Denny's. It is never more apparent than in downtown where both franchises operate right across from each other. It is something that divides the force right down the middle, except for the motorcycle cops who almost always go for IHOP. Something tells me the choice comes down to one thing; flavored syrups. If I had to choose, I would be more likely to go with IHOP. The boisenberry syrup is delicious. If you have never had it, it will part your hair. Manolo makes his own syrup but it isn't the same. Maybe it's because it wasn't in that syrup caddy with all the other ones. That's a large part of the attraction, the syrup caddy.
