Five Easy Pieces

Constance and I are planning a spring dinner party. Scotty will be there as will his current girlfriend Amanda. I think she's an actress too. Honestly I'd like a guest who knows something about organic gardening and doesn't just talk about which agency is moving to Century City from Beverly Hills or vice versa. A dinner party is like a fire. It needs to be arranged, fueled, lit, stoked and appropriately tamped. Some people are tinder, others are kindling. In a magazine-fueled case of serendipity, I was in the gray room breezing through a slightly old OK magazine when I found an article about Bruce Dern's organic garden in Oregon. I will add him to the list. I said quite loudly "fuel for the fire" and Constance asked me what I was referring to. Wanting to keep my list secret for now I made up something about it being a Huey Lewis album. It certainly sounds like it should be. Here's to uncalled bluffs Diary.
