Dry Lines
To be at sea is a welcome change from the landed life. Especially before tax season starts. Constance and the Donners and I are sailing around Catalina. We are taking our time. I got the dictaphone going, talked for more than a half-hour before realizing I could call in to Manolo. The clouds broke open this morning and Dick and I counted 747s coming over the ocean as the red dawn broke. We were admonished by the ladies when we threw the lifesavers overboard, but it was all in good fun. Those lines needed to be tested anyhow. The rain has finally evaporated off the deck. I have a wonderful feeling of happiness today. I haven't had it in a while. Contentment is our captain and he has the regulation beard.
