Temperature
Doug filled me in on sunsets the other day. The horizon is the same and the sun is the same, so why are sunsets so brilliant and sunrises so bland? The air temperature, apparently. Doug is full of stuff like that. He had some good trivia for me about the origins of golf, too. Apparently it dates back to the 13th century in Scotland. There were so many people playing golf they banned the game because no one was farming anymore. Sounds like a child's book report, but history is often just that simple. Anyway, so some guy invented minigolf right then and there to get around the royal proclaimation or what have you. Constance and I are sailing to Catalina next weekend. Tie a sheepshank for me, Diary.
